Coming from a strong educational and supervision background of critical existential-analytic therapy and person-centered therapy, Dr. Ben Garrett adjusts his appraoch to help the supervisee become more of the kind of counsellor that they want to become. 

Dr. Ben Garrett has been supervising for over five years and has had a caseload of  anywhere from five to twenty-five supervisees with varying levels of education and experience. His education in supervision includes a Certificate in Advanced Supervision Training from the Existential Academy, Clinical Supervision in Psychotherapy and Counselling from the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) and is completing his Diploma in Critical Existential-Analytic Psychotherapy &  Psychotherapeutic Counselling Supervision from the Southern Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling (SAFPAC).

I support counsellors and psychotherapists across a range of modalities, including psychodynamic, person-centred, and integrative approaches. Together, we reflect on your client work, navigate ethical dilemmas, and explore your personal responses, with the aim of helping you stay grounded, confident, and connected to your professional purpose.
